VRCFilm Interview Series: Joe Hunting

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to sit down with Joe Hunting (Little Poe), director of the film We Met in Virtual Reality now streaming on HBO Max, for a detailed discussion on his work, his inspirations, and the filmmaking process. We discussed the role of the director and the responsibility of a creator to the authenticity of their story and the protection of their cast and crew, and we looked forward to the future of VRChat filmmaking and what might be in store for us in the coming years. My deepest thanks to Joe for taking the time to come and share these thoughts with us! I also want to thank my good friends Legend50210 and Gab Jankums for helping me to film the additional angles for this interview. Videography

I'm always seeking to make cinematic videos that will push my skills forward as a creator and offer a striking, unique visual presence for your brand. I work completely on my own, creating your video from scratch with my own gear all the way through to the editing process, promising to deliver the highest visual quality. I'm available to work with clients in VRChat and locally in the Boston area, but am also open to travel.

Video editing

I take my editing seriously, seeking to always offer the maxiumum visual quality and widest color ranges, ensuring I put as much effort into the color, audio, and titling process as into the editing itself. I consider editing to be as much an art as a science, and I strive to edit in a way that creates raw and powerful feelings in the viewer. I can accept files online and work remotely.
