Last weekend, I had the opportunity to sit down with Joe Hunting (Little Poe), director of the film We Met in Virtual Reality now streaming on HBO Max, for a detailed discussion on his work, his inspirations, and the filmmaking process. We discussed the role of the director and the responsibility of a creator to the authenticity of their story and the protection of their cast and crew, and we looked forward to the future of VRChat filmmaking and what might be in store for us in the coming years. Mason VR Productions hosted one of the worlds first IRL & VR DJ event at CLUB SAW in Ottawa Canada September 1, 2022 where VR DJ’s were projected into the IRL space. A LIDAR scan of the real venue was done to create a digital clone of the venue where in-person and VR attendees partied together in real time. A short video compiled of a few clips I filmed at Magfest 2023. I attended the convention to meet many friends from the VRChat club scene community, and throughout the weekend, good music, good food, and good times were shared together. Following Magfest, I went on a second trip to visit one of my closest VRChat friends in California, and while i did much less filming on this trip i included a few clips of my travels at the end. All footage filmed with my Panasonic Lumix S5, and my 20-60mm f3.5-5.6 lens or my Nikon E 50mm/Isco Ultra Star Red anamorphic setup.

I had the chance to film Essenger perform live in Rhode Island back in August on one of the early stops of his tour. Many thanks to Essenger for giving me the opportunity to film this epic show.
